Dear Friend of YANA Ministries!

The origin of Christmas lies with Christ. Just because man has chosen to change the spelling of His name to a letter ("X") does not change history or Who He is or His lineage or His influence, work and name.

Those who choose not to use Christ's name do not know God. We are called as His people to show them Who God is. It is an unchangeable fact that there is no Christmas without Christ. So let us not be unkind or offended by those who choose to replace Christmas with holiday and those who choose to downplay the eternal significance of Christ's birth and focus on the gift-giving and generosity signified by this holy season.

No let us not be unkind. Let us be the example! Show them Who God is! Let them know that it is not about the word. It is about the heart. To give charitably and abundantly to those in need is the meaning of Christmas. It is salvation at the beginning, at the time when Christ was born. The star showed the light this child was bringing to the world. He was doing the work of God. He suffered for our sins and He hung on a tree for us, you and me! That is His heart! That is the heart of God!

Where is your heart? Show the world your heart, O Christian! If you know God, the Word, Christ, has significant meaning. It should be "holy" Christmas because it is a holy day. Men have changed it to holiday to make it more palatable for themselves. Christ gave His life that we might have ours! But all the words mankind has pinned on Him, spit on Him and called Him did not change His mission. He was humble in spirit and word. He did not get into debates. He spoke the truth and moved on. Even when tempted, He spoke the truth in love even to the serpent and He died speaking the truth. Do likewise, O Christian! Speak the truth!

In this holy season of salvation, what are you doing with your time? Speak the truth as Christ did so that all men know Who God is!

Let us pray together: O Most Holy God, Your truth signifies Your reliability, dependability, and faithfulness! For us as men truth means that we are consistent in our actions and are conformed to Your will. Your truth is more than a thought or belief. Your truth is something to be done, O God! For You are the Rock! Your work is perfect! All Your ways are judgment for You are a God of truth and without iniquity, just and right are You! (Deuteronomy 32:4) All Your paths are mercy and truth unto such as keep Your covenant and Your testimonies! (Psalm 25:10)! You will judge the world with righteousness and the people with Your truth (Psalm 96:13)! Let us lift Your truth up for all the world to see! Let us proclaim Your truth, mercy, love and grace so that all will know that You are God and that there is no one before You! Christ said, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father but by Me (John 14:6)! Proclaim His truth! Let us as Christians, walk in His way! We pray that the Holy Spirit will lead us to do what is the truth and come into the light of Christ, that His deeds may be made manifest, that they are wrought in God (John 3:21)! Praise Him forever! Amen!
