Prayer For Salvation

There comes a time in the life of every Christian, when they are so aware of their unworthiness before God that they are drawn to humble themselves at the foot of Christ’s cross and ask for Him to be their Savior and LORD. Such a request is a cry for salvation and eternal life through the power and love of God! It is a declaration of belief in the love and power of God and a commitment to live under the command of the Savior, Jesus Christ. The prayer that follows is one such heart cry. Please feel free to use it or to speak your own words to the LORD of All so that you may join the family of God for all eternity!

O Most Holy God, I come before You this day, seeking Your mercy and forgiveness for eternal life! You have shown me how much I need a Savior! My heart and my mind long to embrace You and to know Your truth! These things are available to me because Your Son, Jesus, died on the cross for me. I do believe that Jesus is God, Your Son; that He died for my sins and rose from the dead, showing Your power over sin and death! I ask Your forgiveness for my sins - past, present and to come – because of Jesus’s sacrifice on the cross! I recognize Him as my LORD and Savior, and commit my life to His keeping! I am no longer my own but am His servant forevermore through the power of Your Holy Spirit! Take me as Your own, dear God, from this day forward! Amen!

Weekly Prayer

Speak the Truth of Christ!

Let us pray together: Lord Jesus! We believe in You! We seek to abide in You! We live because of You! We are fed by You! (John 6:55-57) We are the branches who receive life from You, the true vine (John 15:1-4)! We cannot bear fruit unless we abide in You because without You we can do nothing (John 15:5)! We ask Your Holy Spirit to enlighten us with the truth of Your Word! We want Your words to live in us so we will not wither and be cast out (John 15:6)! Let our lives bear much fruit and so glorify our Father in heaven (John 15:8)! We know that we can abide in You and in Your love because You have loved us (John 15:9)! We will keep Your commandments and abide in Your love just as You have kept the Father's commandments and abide in His love (John 15:10)! For if we are going to say we abide in You, we ought to walk just as You walked (1 John 2:6)! And we will do these things by the power and presence of the Holy Spirit within us (1 John 3:24)! We hold firm to the faith because we know that Your truth abides in us and will be with us forever (2 John 1:2)! Praise and glory to Your Name, LORD Jesus! Amen!

David recently had a spot on his back removed and testing confirmed melanoma. He went in yesterday and had a larger portion removed. The doctor is optimistic that all cancer has been removed. Please pray for quick and complete healing. David and his sister are also in the midst of making decisions regarding the care of their mother. Please pray for wisdom to make the choice that is best for their mother.

Thanks to all of you for the wonderful cards and prayers for our Natalie. Every day God gives us small miracles which keep our hopes alive and our faith strong. She is re-learning how to walk, and her arm is awakening slowly It is amazing the joy that can be found in a pinky finger that moves, or a hand that opens- although she may not be able to open it every time. We are now seeing an Neurologist/MS Specialist at the Medical Center who has high hopes that this is an Auto-Immune issue, rather than MS which would be far more challenging. More tests and time will lead us to a final diagnosis. In either case, it is very serious, and we continue to pray for healing for our precious girl. Natalie's high spirits and determination are so admirable, but she gives all the glory to Him. Thank you again for your prayers and support.
